As of Thursday, April 28th 2016 there is a known issue with sending & receiving email for Opendoor.com addresses. We are working with OpenDoor to get the problem resolved as quickly as possible. In the meantime, if you are unable to currently send or receive email through your Opendoor.com address we recommend the following resolutions:
1. You can use the web-based mail at http://mailx.opendoor.com to read and send emails (it should successfully redirect you to the URI https://smartermail.scarabmedia.com until OpenDoor resolves the problem).
2. You can set your email client(s) or devices to use the following Incoming & Outgoing Servers for your opendoor.com account(s):
Incoming Server: smartermail.scarabmedia.com (instead of mailx.opendoor.com)
Outgoing Server: smartermail.scarabmedia.com (instetad of mailx.opendoor.com)
This change to the Incoming & Outgoing Servers will work both now and after OpenDoor resolves this issue. Guides for configuring popular email clients and devices can be found at http://ashlandhome.net/default.asp?pg=support_email.
