Email and Messaging Services
In this section we'll show you how to set up and use your Email software, and while Ashland Home Net officially supports only SmarterMail, Windows Mail, Mail (on Mac OS X and iOS devices), and Microsoft Outlook, we have provided basic set up instructions for a variety of popular Email programs.
Note: Ashland Home Net cannot provide telephone or Email support for Email programs other than SmarterMail, Windows Mail, Microsoft Outlook, and Mail (on Mac OS X and iOS devices).
SmarterMail
SmarterMail is a powerful web application which provides a single platform for accessing your email on the web – from anywhere and at anytime. With a web interface that’s intuitive for both casual and power users, SmarterMail provides access to email, instant messaging, calendars, contacts, notes, and tasks from any device or tablet with a web browser. If you don't want to use an email client like Outlook, you don't have to; all of SmarterMail's functionality is available using a web browser.
